3rd example pic

Sorry about the non-standard pic to illustrate a discontinuous loop with strong inference (I don't have any software that produces the standard layout). Please feel free to reformat it. - Paul

The images DiscontinuousNiceLoop2.png and DiscontinuousNiceLoop3.png are not really standard layouts - these are actually output from my own solver. Since your diagrams are much more informative than mine, how about you generating these diagrams instead and replacing mine? (The above links points to pages which contain both the givens and the candidate grids for the examples. You can paste them into your program to generate your diagrams, or create your own examples to replace mine.) Thanks. --unkx80 15:50, 29 December 2006 (CET)

OK, done that. My program found different loops, so I had to use a different example puzzle for the first (weak links) example. I'll go back and put the puzzle and candidate data with the first two pics I uploaded. I'm new to this, so just finding my way! - Paul

Some of the links in the pictures don't seem right. For instance in the second picture the link between r1c5 and r6c5 should be =5= and the link between r2c3 and r6c3 should be =6=. there are similar mistakes in the third and fourth diagrams. the mistakes are repeated in the notations below each diagram.
