Current policies regarding the use of redirect pages.
- All aliases for a term are listed in the terminology index.
- All aliases have a redirect page to the main lemma, as listed in the terminology index.
- Acronyms should redirect to the main lemma, even if the acronym is used for an alias. Try to avoid double redirects.
- Acronyms should contain a
[[Category:Acronyms]]reference. - Aliases and acronyms for solving techniques should contain a
[[Category:Solving Techniques]]reference. - In general, plural forms do not need a redirect page to the singular form. You can expand the plural form outside the link like this:
[[cell]]s - In case of plural forms that substantially differ from the singular form, a redirect page is useful, like in vertex and vertices.
