Cross+A can solve many Sudoku variants: 9x9, 12x12, 16x16, Killer, Samurai, Flower, Sohei, Butterfly, Sensei, DoubleDoku, Sudoku-X, Jigsaw, Greater Than, Consecutive Sudoku, Even-Odd, Wordoku, Sukaku. The program also contains the generator for Sudoku-X, Asterisk Sudoku, Windoku, Sudoku-DG, Jigsaw, Greater Than and Even-Odd Sudoku.

The main purpose of Cross+A is to simplify the solution of crosswords and other word-based puzzles. But with the course of time, the solution of Nonograms, Sudokus, Kakuro and other logic puzzles were added; such puzzles are extremely popular in Russia.
